Parent involvement is encouraged and provides an opportunity for parents to stay actively involved in their high school student's life.  Parents and guardians are encouraged to become active participants in their student's education.  Volunteer groups include:

  • Athletic Boosters
    • Athletic Boosters meet on the first Monday of the month in room E501 at the high school at 7pm.  Check District Calendar for dates.
  • Band Boosters
    • Band Boosters meet in the high school band room at 7pm on the third Tuesday of the month.  Check District Calendar for dates.
  • Wayland Orchestra Parent Organization
    • W.O.P.O. meets on various Monday evenings at WMS at 7pm throughout the year. Check the District Calendar for dates.
  • Grad Party 2013

      Date:  Sell tickets on February 5, February 8 and February 15 @ the Boys Varsity Basketball Games
      Winner:  Chosen at half-time of the Boys Varsity Basketball Game on February 15.  Need "not" be present to win.
      Cost:  1 ticket for $5.00 or 6 tickets for $25.00
      Other Information:  Chainsaw valued btw $170-$180  It is a STIHL MS 170.
