Hunter Safety Class a must for young hunters PDF Print E-mail
Fall is right around the corner, and that means Michigan’s hunting season will soon begin.  In preparation for the annual event, Wayland Community Education is offering a Hunter Safety course. The class will be held on Friday, August 22 from 5:30-9pm and Saturday, August 23 from 9am-4pm at the Wayland Middle School cafeteria.  

Hunter safety is required if you were born after January 1, 1960 and you want to purchase any Michigan hunting license, or you are planning an out-of-state hunting trip.

Pre-registration is required and the class is $8.00.  Participants are encouraged to pick up a course booklet before taking the course and is available at the Wayland Community Education office located inside Steeby Elementary School at 435 E.
